Class Descriptions

  • An all-levels welcome class where modifications are given so that an individual may practice according to their comfort level. The teacher sometimes pairs their extensive knowledge of ayurveda with yoga practice to craft a class conducive to balancing the elements of the body, establishing a sense of inner peace and well-being, restoring vitality and building strength. “Vinyasa is a breath initiated practice, that connects every action of our life with the intention of moving towards what is sacred, or most important to us.”

  • Blends traditional yoga poses while both sitting and standing along side a chair. The one hour class is designed for all fitness levels and encourages muscle strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, range of motion, bone and joint strengthening. Connecting yoga breath with each position improves health by reducing stress, lowering blood pressure and heart rate while relaxing the nervous system.

  • Links breath, movement and traditional yoga poses together at a pace that is relaxed yet therapeutic. Pose modifications and assistance as well as pose challenges are offered during practice so that you can alter the intensity according to your comfort level. This class is beginner friendly, a general knowledge of yoga can be helpful but is not necessary as body specific cues are provided throughout the entire practice. The flow, music and theme change from class to class, but we will always practice a full body warming stretch, a gentle cool down and end in sweet Shavasana. Benefits include improved range of motion, flexibility, strength, joint and overall body health, reduction of stress and promote a general feeling of relaxation.

  • Where breath meets movement. Embark on a journey of self discovery and empowerment in this dynamic Power Yoga class. Flow through invigorating vinyasas, challenge your limits and find your inner strength. This class includes grounding centering, creative challenging poses, equanimity balancing, backbend series, inversions and blissful savasana. All levels are welcome – modifications provided!
